After graduating from ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ with a Master of Social Work degree, I pursued licensure in the state of New York and began working with men and women struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Since then, I have worked with a variety of populations dealing with work/life balance, family issues, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I have experience working in a mental health inpatient hospital as a counselor at a men’s state prison. After spending 5 years working as a counselor at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ and opening a private practice, I have come full circle in my career working as a Social Worker for a gun violence prevention program in Newburgh, NY. I provide trauma focused care to those who have been affected by gun violence.
