Professor Jiří Stelzer is a native of the Czech Republic and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He has been working at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ in Georgia since 1999. Professor Stelzer teaches courses for master's and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) students in the Teacher Education department and has taught a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In 23+ years of teaching at the university level, he has taught 7 graduate and 8 undergraduate-level courses. From these 12 courses, he developed 9 of them to be taught entirely online.
Dr. Stelzer conducts research and publishes in the areas of general well-being, multicultural education, motivation, and behavior, utilizing physical activity (PA) and PA monitoring.
