Statement of teaching and research interests:

Dr. Yang’s research centers on sustainable energy transitions, encompassing climate resilience, energy policy, and the financial dimensions associated with energy transitions. Her recent research contributions include two papers on the subject of local energy transitions, which are published on the journal Energy Policy. In addition to her research, Dr. Yang’s teaching experience spans diverse settings—in-person, online, and hybrid. Her teaching portfolio encompasses a range of courses, including an introductory undergraduate course on Public Policy, as well as advanced courses at the graduate level such as Public Policy Analysis, Public Policy Formation, Energy Policy, and Environmental Policy.
