Teaching Interests:
My teaching centers on Health Economics, Principles of Economics, Healthcare Administration and Business Analytics.
Research Interests:
My research spans health economics and business pedagogy. In pedagogy, I test innovations in healthcare management and economics principles courses using experimental designs to link course design to outcomes. In health economics, I examine how substance use (tobacco, e-cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana) affects education and labor-market outcomes, leveraging policy variation on microdata. My aim is to generate evidence that improves instruction and informs cost-effective, equity-aware policy.
